Urban Playground In collaboration with Early Intervention Connections is excited to offer a FREE Inclusive Open Gym designed for young children who receive Early Intervention services and may benefit from a smaller, more supportive environment to move, explore, and play.
These special Open Gym sessions are intentionally kept small, giving children an opportunity to explore our gym and obstacles at their own pace in a more comfortable and flexible setting.
Parents and caregivers are required to join their child on the gym floor to provide whatever support or assistance they may need. Siblings and other family members are also welcome to come along! We have seating available around the entire gym for family members who would like to watch; however, only registered participants and parents/caregivers assisting them may be on the gym floor.

Advance registration is required. Once a session reaches capacity, a waiting list will be available in case of cancellations.
Waivers
All registered participants, as well as any parent or caregiver joining their child on the gym floor, must have a waiver on file.
Our digital waiver can be completed before arrival using the link below. We will also have an iPad available at check-in for anyone who needs to complete a waiver that day.
Shoes & Sensory Needs
We typically keep shoes on while using the gym, as some areas and obstacles can be slippery in socks. Shoes are removed when using our main trampoline. We’ll go over this and any specific safety considerations at the beginning of each session.
We understand that every child is different and are happy to be flexible for sensory needs or sensitivities. If keeping shoes on is difficult for your child, just let our staff know and we’ll work with you to find the best option.
Our First Inclusive Open Gym
This is our first event of this kind, and we’re excited to offer families an opportunity to experience Urban Playground in a smaller, more flexible setting.
This event is also an opportunity for us to learn what works best for families as we explore offering more inclusive events in the future.
